Prague Airport recorded significant growth in both passenger numbers and financial results in 2025. Alongside this growth, the airport is investing billions in the modernisation of its infrastructure and preparing for the next stages of expansion.
Prague Airport closed the 2025 financial year with a significantly improved result. As the operating company Letiště Praha announced on Monday, operating profit (EBITDA) rose to CZK 5.1 billion. Compared with the previous year, this represents an increase of CZK 800 million. Net profit also increased by CZK 800 million to a total of CZK 3.2 billion.
According to the company, this continued the positive development of recent years. At the same time, the airport continued investing in the modernisation of its infrastructure and preparing for further growth.
In 2025, a total of 17.8 million passengers were handled at Václav Havel Airport Prague. This was around 1.4 million more than in the previous year. Overall, 84 airlines operated from Prague to 194 destinations. Together with the airlines, 19 new routes were also launched during the year.

Revenue from aviation operations amounted to CZK 7.1 billion, while so-called non-aviation revenues – including retail, food and beverage services, and parking services – reached CZK 3.7 billion.
The range of services available to travellers was also expanded. During the year, 18 new food, beverage and retail units opened across the airport. In addition, the airport introduced its new “Flexi Parking” service, which combines affordable parking near the airport with a shuttle service to the terminals.
At the same time, Letiště Praha carried out extensive investment projects. The most important measures included work around the main runway, the construction of a new utility collector, and the renovation of an administrative building at Terminal 1. Total investment reached CZK 3.5 billion.
For the current year, the airport expects passenger numbers to continue rising. According to current forecasts, around 18.6 million travellers are expected to pass through Prague Airport in 2026.
The ongoing investments form part of the long-term modernisation of Václav Havel Airport Prague. The first works began last year, with further expansion and modernisation projects planned for the coming years.
