Italian specialities and a Mediterranean atmosphere await visitors in early September. At the “PIZZA! PIZZA! POP-UP”, numerous restaurants and food businesses will present their specialities. Admission is free.
On Thursday, 3 September 2026, the market square at Holešovická tržnice will once again be transformed into a small Italian piazza. The traditional “PIZZA! PIZZA! POP-UP” will take place there for the fifth time, from 11.00 am to 10.00 pm.
The event focuses on various versions of the Italian classic. However, the culinary offering goes far beyond pizza: visitors can look forward to pinsa, fresh pasta, arancini, desserts and ice cream, among other treats. Italian coffee, Prosecco and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
Alongside the food, music and a varied accompanying programme will provide an Italian atmosphere.

The number of participating businesses has once again increased slightly compared with the previous year. Those presenting their specialities include Pizza Metro, Mate’s PIZZA TRUCK, PIZZA Therapy, Pinsa Al Forno, HOLY PASTA, La Mia Spitzeria, Spojka Karlín, Ňam.Ňam.Piaggio, PIZZAKOLEM, Picoška and the Cukrárna U Moučků confectionery.
Drinks will be provided by Gin Twist, Aperol Ape, Milujeme Prosecco, Pivovar Chroust brewery and Garage 22, with its Negroni bar. Bovelii Caffé will serve speciality coffee roasted in Parma, Italy, from its distinctive red Piaggio.
The “PIZZA! PIZZA! POP-UP” is the fifth edition of the popular food pop-up series organised by Holešovice Market. The concept is inspired by the traditional Italian aperitivo: meeting after work, having something to eat, sitting with friends and enjoying the final days of summer together.
