Prague Airport is entering the winter season with an expanded route network. The number of airlines operating flights from the airport is also increasing compared with the previous year.

From Sunday, 25 October 2026, the new winter flight schedule for 2026/27 will come into effect at Václav Havel Airport Prague. Until 27 March 2027, travellers will have a total of 145 destinations to choose from, twelve more than last winter. A total of 69 airlines will operate flights from Prague during the winter season. The airport expects more than 6.5 million passengers during this period.

According to Radomír Lašák, Chairman of the Board of Prague Airport, travel is no longer concentrated exclusively in the summer months. The winter season is also becoming increasingly important: while many Czechs spend their holidays abroad, Prague attracts international visitors at the same time.

Lašák says the airport and its airline partners are offering a record number of connections and destinations. The schedule includes routes serving cities, ski resorts and long-haul destinations.

20 New Destinations in the Winter Flight Schedule

Compared with last winter, Prague Airport is expanding its route network by a total of 20 new destinations. These include European cities, long-haul destinations in Asia and holiday regions.

Within Europe, the schedule includes Lille in France (easyJet), Palermo and Turin in Italy (Ryanair and Wizz Air), as well as Venice and Bergen (Smartwings).

Additional connections will also serve destinations near winter sports resorts. SkyAlps will offer direct flights to Bolzano in South Tyrol, while Wizz Air will operate flights to Poprad in Slovakia. Both cities provide access to nearby ski areas.

New Long-Haul Connections and Holiday Destinations

Alongside European routes, the airport is also expanding its long-haul connections. New additions to the winter schedule include flights to Almaty in Kazakhstan and Hanoi in Vietnam with Vietjet.

Several charter connections will also be available during the winter season. These include Phuket in Thailand (Neos), La Romana in the Dominican Republic and Sihanoukville in Cambodia (both TUI Airways).

A total of 69 airlines will operate at Prague Airport during the winter season, four more than in the previous year.

London Remains the Most Frequently Served Destination
