Construction Works in Plzeňská: Changes to Several Bus Routes in Prague 5

Passengers in Prague 5 will have to prepare for disruptions and temporary route changes on several bus services from the beginning of May. The reason is the next phase of construction works in Plzeňská Street.

Due to further construction works in Plzeňská, temporary changes to bus services will come into effect from the start of operations on Sunday, 3 May 2026. Routes 123, 149, 167 and 191 will be affected. According to the Prague Public Transit Company, the measures are expected to remain in place until June 2026.

Bus route 123 will operate only between Šmukýřka and Kavalírka during the construction works. The Na Knížecí stop will be completely suspended, as will the Anděl and Klamovka stops in both directions.

On route 149, a temporary Klamovka stop will be introduced in the direction of Dejvická. It will be located in Prachnerova Street near the junction with Plzeňská and will be shared with route 191.

There will also be changes to route 167: In the direction of Nemocnice Na Homolce, the route will continue from Anděl via Stroupežnického and Plzeňská before rejoining its regular route. The Klamovka stop will be suspended in this direction. As a replacement, additional stops will be introduced between Anděl and Kavalírka at the tram stops Bertranka, U Zvonu and Klamovka.

Route 191 will also be shortened during the construction works and will operate only on the section Letiště – Obchodní centrum Ruzyně – Dědina – Klamovka. In the direction of the airport and Dědina, the route will be diverted via Prachnerova and Podbělohorská streets. In addition, a temporary boarding stop, Klamovka, will be established in Prachnerova Street. The Na Knížecí and Anděl stops will be suspended on this route in both directions.
