Prague Steakhouse Antricote Delights Steak Lovers from Near and Far

Since its inclusion in the latest edition of the Michelin Guide for the Czech Republic, Prague steakhouse Antricote has been attracting an increasing number of international food lovers and guests specifically seeking exceptional culinary experiences.

Its inclusion in the Michelin Guide has brought noticeable changes for Prague steakhouse Antricote. In particular, more international guests and passionate gourmets are now finding their way to the family-run restaurant in the heart of the Czech capital.

“The composition of our guests has changed above all,” says Sofia, one of the restaurant’s owners, in an interview with Prague Daily News. While many visitors previously simply looked for a good restaurant, more people are now travelling to Prague specifically to discover outstanding culinary experiences.

However, inclusion in the prestigious Michelin Guide has also brought greater pressure. The recognition has raised expectations, which the restaurant strives to meet every day. Guests now expect not only first-class food but also excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere and an outstanding overall dining experience.

The concept has not changed despite the recognition. Antricote continues to develop its menu regularly, regardless of the Michelin Guide, and introduces new dishes approximately every six months.

The Michelin Guide describes Antricote as a recommendation for steak lovers in the heart of Prague’s Old Town. It particularly highlights the premium steaks, perfectly grilled over a wood fire, as well as the open kitchen and modern urban ambience.

The latest edition of the Michelin Guide extends beyond Prague for the first time, covering the entire culinary landscape of the Czech Republic. A total of nine restaurants were awarded MICHELIN stars, and with 79 restaurants listed, the selection reflects the remarkable diversity of Czech cuisine and its creative development of regional traditions.
