New Prague ‘Tunnel Bus’ Route 145 Connects Districts 6 and 8

Since Saturday, 15 August 2026, a new bus route has connected Prague districts 6 and 8. Route 145 uses the Blanka Tunnel, providing a fast connection between Čimice, Kobylisy, Hradčanská and Dejvice.

The new ‘tunnel bus’ route operates between the termini Sídliště Čimice and Dejvická. Its full route runs via Libeňská, Řepínská, Podhajská pole, Písečná, Služská, Kobylisy, Okrouhlická, Vychovatelna, Hradčanská and Vítězné náměstí.

During peak hours on weekdays, buses run every six minutes. Outside peak hours and at weekends, the interval is between 15 and 20 minutes.

The first bus departs from Sídliště Čimice at 4.45 am. The first service from Dejvická departs at 4.58 am. The final buses leave the termini at 10.42 pm towards Dejvická and at 10.50 pm towards Sídliště Čimice.

The scheduled journey time between the two termini is around 30 minutes. Depending on current traffic conditions, however, the actual journey may take longer.

Further Changes to Routes 152 and 218

The introduction of the new route for bus 145 is accompanied by further changes to Prague’s bus services from 15 August.

Route 152 takes over the previous route of bus 145 between the Čimice housing estate and Kobylisy. It will now run via the Vozovna Kobylisy stop.

At the same time, route 218 is being extended from Nádraží Veleslavín station via Bořislavka to the Na Pískách stop. Buses run via Kladenská Street. The extended route is served throughout the day and on every day of the week.

Following the completion of the reconstruction of Kbelská Street, revised timetables for several bus routes have also been in effect since 15 August.
