Leo Express Autumn Promotion Offers 50 Per Cent Off Every Second Ticket

Until Friday, Leo Express is offering 50 per cent off every second ticket. The promotion applies for journeys until 12 December 2026.

As part of an autumn promotion, Czech railway company Leo Express is offering 50 per cent off every second ticket. The offer applies to bookings made between 14 and 18 September and can be used for journeys until 12 December 2026.

To take advantage of the promotion, called ‘1+50%’, passengers must enter the promotional code LE50 when booking. The offer applies when purchasing an even number of tickets for the same Economy Class service. Children, students and senior citizens can also use the discount. Payment can be made either by standard methods or with Leo Credits.

‘Autumn is traditionally a time for excursions and city breaks in Europe. With this promotion, we want to offer passengers the opportunity to travel more cheaply as a pair – for journeys until mid-December,’ explains Peter Köhler, CEO of Leo Express.

The discount applies not only to long-distance services within the Czech Republic, but also to international routes. It also includes journeys in couchette carriages on night trains operating on the Frankfurt - Dresden - Prague - Ostrava - Przemyśl route and back in Sleeper Class.

International Travel from Just a Few Hundred Crowns

According to the transport company, a one-way journey from Prague to Kraków is normally available from CZK 179 per person. Under the promotion, two people pay from CZK 269 in total. Tickets from Prague to Warsaw start at CZK 239 per person or CZK 359 for two passengers.

The same starting prices apply to the route from Prague to Frankfurt am Main: one person travels from CZK 239, while two people using the promotional discount pay from CZK 359. A journey from Prague to Bratislava is available for two people from just CZK 162.

The offer can also be used on services within the Czech Republic. Tickets from Olomouc or Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště to Prague start at CZK 50 per person. Under the promotion, two passengers pay from CZK 75 in total.

The prices quoted are the lowest available fares for a one-way journey. The actual price depends on the travel date, the specific service and current occupancy levels.

New Seasonal On-Board Menu

Since 9 September, Leo Express has also been offering a new autumn menu on its trains. It includes pumpkin cream soup, butter chicken, dumplings filled with smoked meat and served with two different types of cabbage, and Szeged goulash with dumplings. Desserts include brownies, Häagen-Dazs ice cream and a chocolate and raspberry cheesecake from the Ostrava-based Ollies confectionery. The exact selection varies depending on the route and train service.

The promotion runs until 11.59 pm on 18 September 2026. If different fares are combined, the discount is applied to the cheaper ticket in each pair. The full promotional terms and conditions are available on the Leo Express website.
